Intercom Bollards - Enhancing effective communication

No matter where you are or what you’re doing, communication between people is constant. Whether you are parking underground, visiting someone at their apartment complex, or a university student, communication is used in every day situations, and is an essential part of every day life.

Australian Bollards has had the pleasure of installing the AB-INTA-S Intercom Bollards at the entry/exit paths of the 15-level Australian Unity building, which features Remedy Healthcare and other offices, which now allows for one-way or two-way communication, promoting effective communication. This intercom can be used within the entire building.

Australian-made, designed and supplied by Australian Bollards, our Architecturally Designed Intercom Bollards range are a must have electrical access control solution.

Unlike any other communication system, the intercom bollard complements any security system, and can be installed at the front entry/exit paths in any home, office, or commercial facility.

Australian Bollards intercom bollards are NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) approved, and are compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) of 2005. This means our intercom bollards are easier to access as they cater for a range of customers, including those with disabilities. Especially since the intercom can be positioned at wheelchair friendly locations, making this solution favourable, smart and highly effective.

Fabricated to accommodate a range of appliances and devices including intercoms, control points, help points, and power outlets; the bollard can be installed in either sub-surface or surface mounted fashions.

These bollards are the most robust and industrial grade type in the market, and are not limited to just audio or video and audio forms of communication. Communication can be performed in either analog or digital formats.

The user operates this product by using a headset or monitor which is attached to the intercom. Once authority is granted, the user can press the buzzer to release a door strike or electric locking device.

The intercom bollard is manufactured in stainless steel, and available in either a satin or mirror finish, with the option to be custom made to suit our customer requirements.

Intercom bollards are most commonly found at high rise office buildings, rental units, multi-story car parks and universities.
