The energy absorbing bollard (EAB) is designed to halt vehicles weighing 1700kg while travelling at speeds of up to 65 kilometres an hour. Located across work zones, low speed roads and high foot traffic areas to protect pedestrians from hostile vehicles.

Its shock absorbing capabilities comes from the VVH Grade Polystyrene foam making it compliant with AS/NZS 1698:2006.

Installed at a sub-surface level, the AB-EAB comes in a galvanised steel and powder coated finish to provide an aesthetically pleasing touch to the product.
